Paratransit Drivers - FT and PT - $10.25/hr. 


Our Paratransit Drivers operate lift-equipped, paratransit vehicles safely and efficiently in the door-to-door transport of passengers to scheduled sites; assists passengers on and off assigned vehicles which may include passengers with wheelchairs and other durable medical devices; assures the safety of passengers while riding in assigned vehicles; reports schedule delays, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, emergencies, vehicle equipment failure and/or unusual  circumstances to Dispatch and maintains accurate records and logs of trip information as required. The schedules for this position vary between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., six days per week (includes rotating Saturdays) and holidays (other than our six designated company holidays).


The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Valid Florida Driver License

  • Clean driving record for the past 7 years

  • At least 25 years of age with three years driving experience for insurability

  • Must submit a local background check with application (can be obtained from local sheriff's office)

  • Level II Background Check - renewed every 5 years

  • Extensive knowledge of assigned geographical area (Lee, Sarasota or Manatee County)

  • Prior experience in the Transportation field transporting passengers preferred

  • Signed release for obtaining drug testing records from previous employers

  • GPS technology and ability to operate tablets required

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (must speak, read, comprehend and

    write English fluently to communicate with our passengers, emergency personnel, the 

    public and co-workers)

============================================================================= Building Maintenance & GroundsKeeper - PT - $9.25/hr.

Performs a variety of janitorial/custodial tasks to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds.  Assist mechanics in performing minor repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics tests under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager.  The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.


  • Responsible for routine cleaning of buildings (i.e. pressure washing, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning windows, walls, doors, fixtures, vacuuming floors, carpets and upholstery, etc.) and equipment utilized in performing these duties.

  • Dusts and cleans offices, hallways and restrooms. Cleans, sanitizes and replenishes bathroom facilities.

  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and buffs floors. Sweeps and cleans walkways.

  • Moves furniture or equipment, sets up rooms for meetings and special events.

  • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and of building such as touch up and finish painting, replacing light bulbs, etc.

  • Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.

  • Receives, stores and distributes supplies.

  • Performs heavy cleaning in shop areas, including bus bays and floor areas, ensuring that debris and grease are removed.

  • Provides assistance to work staff and visitors as necessary.


  • Responsible for lawn care to assist in the beautification of the premises to include picking up litter, mowing and raking grass; planting, watering, pruning or removing flowers, trees and shrubs.

  • Removes rubbish, soil and leaves from grounds.

  • Operates trimmers, hedgers, mowers and sweepers.


  • Responsible for a variety of tasks such as washing, cleaning, and lubricating vehicles. Loads, unloads and stores automotive parts and supplies.

  • Assists Mechanics with switching out vehicles.

Graduation from high school or GED. Two years experience successfully performing grounds maintenance, custodial and/or industrial cleaning and basic mechanic repair duties. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License, Class B CDL, preferred and a safe driving record.  Must be willing to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold or rain. Must be physically capable of performing heavy physical labor, including lifting materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds.

Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant - FT - $15.00/hr.

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks for our Subsidiary Company. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of previous bookkeeping/accounting experience in addition to hands-on experience working with Excel.

The candidate must be a self-starter, reliable, familiar with accounting/bookkeeping procedures, and have a flair for numbers. The goal is to ensure the daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.


Accounts Payable - Assist in processing vendor invoices into Peachtree accounting software. This includes accurately coding all vendor invoices and answering vendor inquiries. Prepare accounts payable checks and maintain vendor ledgers. Print all AP reports, maintain files and monthly reconciliation to the general ledger.

Accounts Receivable - Invoice preparation and posting into Peachtree accounting software. Post cash receipts and maintain customer ledgers including answering client inquiries. Print all AR reports, maintain files and monthly reconciliation to the general ledger.

  •  General Ledger – Assist in monthly account analysis and reconciliation

  •  Bank Reconciliations – Daily/Monthly

  •  Assist in monthly financial statement preparation

  • Grant Administration – Tracking all grants, recording funding received and maintaining an excel spreadsheet


  • 3+ years of previous bookkeeping/accounting experience

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger experience

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

  • Attention to detail with excellent organization and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -Excel a must

  • Prepare and update multiple Excel Spreadsheets

  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish) and knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software
