Paratransit Drivers

Good Wheels, Inc. accepts applications continuously as this position is an ongoing recruitment. Our Paratransit Drivers operate lift-equipped, paratransit vehicles safely and efficiently in the door-to-door transport of passengers to scheduled sites; assists passengers on and off assigned vehicles; assures the safety of passengers while riding in assigned vehicles; and maintains accurate records and logs of trip information as required. The schedules for this position vary between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., six days per week including weekends and holidays (other than our six designated company holidays). A current MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) and local background check printout must be submitted with your application.

 

The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:

 

·         Valid Florida Driver License

·         Clean driving record

·         At least 25 years of age with three years driving experience for insurability

·         FBI background check - renewed every 5 years

·         Signed release for obtaining drug testing records from previous employers

·         Good communication skills

·         Desire to help people

·         Reliable

·         Responsible

·         Team player

 

If a job offer is made, pre-employment drug testing, FBI (national) background check, and post-job offer physical are required. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the above requirements, and the ability to provide the required documents to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
