Impact Areas
-

Economic Mobility
Helping low-income families climb faster, and father up the economic ladder.
-

Workforce Training
Introducing auto mechanic trainees to high-growth EV related career paths.
-

Pollution & Climate Change
Reducing tailpipe emissions, while extending the life of first generation EVs.
We’re on a mission to put the benefits of an electric vehicle within reach for low-income households.
Economic Mobility
Savings on fuel and maintenance can help break the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle that keeps low-income families at the bottom of the economic ladder.

Workforce Training
More than 90% of auto mechanics never experience meaningful wage-gain. But the remaining 10% somehow make the jump to the next highest wage band. How? They transition to jobs that require experience working with electrical systems. Our work introduces auto repair trainees to EVs, building new skills that can open high growth and higher wage EV-related career paths.

Pollution & Climate Change
Replacing a car that runs on gasoline with an EV eliminates about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year - pollution that would otherwise continue to worsen climate change.
Meanwhile, re-manufactured EV batteries repurpose electronics and hardware while diverting waste from landfills.
